What is the United Highway Safety Escort Association?

In 1991, 13 pilots from Washington and Oregon formed the United Highway Safety Escort Association, a non-profit corporation. We have grown by leaps and bounds and we welcome members from any state, and Canada.

The Purpose of the association:
1. Promote better public safety
2. To encourage all pilots to use all safety equipment and to be certified, licensed, and insured as required
3. To promote goodwill among all state agencies concerned with pilot services.
4. To promote better communication and cooperation between pilot services.

The more representation we have, the better chance we have of getting the regulations we need. We want to have the best possible working relationship with state agencies as possible. To get regulations passed and to have good relations, requires unified strength and the greater our numbers the stronger or voice. As a whole, we can help individuals by offering them benefits such as discounts on safety supplies, insurance, and legal help. But to effectively offer theses benefits takes the help of all the members, the more we have the better off we are.
