Tom Brady/Randy Moss: 23 touchdowns.  Brady will find a way to get the ball to Moss even if he has to toss it up for him in triple coverage Somehow he always ends up with it.2. 1. Raji.  The secondary will be young, but the front seven should be solid enough to let them “learn on the fly”.That’s my predictions for the ACC Atlantic Division, come back next week for final predictions in the ACC, the ACC Champion, and predicted ACC bowl games.. 4 in Atlantic DivisionTop Recruit: 4 star WR Kenny TateOffenseMaryland is always one of those scary teams in the ACC that shows signs of greatness but also major flaws.  The Terps are in the works of installing the West Coast offense, and it will be up to Sophomore QB Chris Turner to lead this team.  Maryland will have a seasoned offensive line, which will do wonders for their run game this season.  Look for Maryland to have some big wins this season, but some head turning losses as well.DefenseMaryland brings back a solid linebacking core, but will have to replace its top defensive linemen in Dre Moore and Carlose Feliciano.  DL Mack Frost looks to help replace the duo, but missed spring practice with a knee injury.North Carolina State Wolfpack No. Spiller sharing time at the RB slot, the Tigers look to ram the ball down opponent’s throats all season.  Senior QB Cullen Harper looks to lead the Tigers to the ACC title and the BCS birth that comes with it.DefenseClemson also brings a lot back from last season on the defensive side of the ball as well.  All of the secondary is returning, including All-ACC candidate S Chris Clemmons and the Tigers bring in the number DE in Da’Quan Bowers.  The defensive line is also shured up with DT’s Dorell Scott and Rashaad Jackson returning along with DE Ricky Sapp. Wake Forest Deamon Deacons No. 1 in Atlantic DivisionTop Recruit: 5 Star DE Da’Quan BowersOffenseClemson returns 15 of their 22 starters from a team that went 9-4 last season.  They are the heavy favorites not only for the ACC Atlantic Division, but to take the entire conference crown.  With James Davis and C.J.

Last week I revealed my picks for the ACC Coastal Division.  Here are my preseason predictions for the ACC Atlantic Division for 2008.Clemson Tigers No. I guess, proof of smoking came during an interview by CBSs Gus Johnson when Slice was still breathing heavily, minutes after the match. Many casual fans that saw Kimbo fight were thoroughly unimpressed with his performance. Secondly, he has proven that he can fight on the ground-albeit he has a ways to go and he is the first to admit this.  Finally, he may no longer going be viewed as MMA’s answer to the early Mike Tyson. Kimbo Slice barely survived his fight with James Thompson winning via a controversial TKO in the third round.  The first two rounds appeared to go to Thompson, and Kimbo Slice was in trouble of losing his first MMA fight.A loss by Kimbo, would have been devastating for his reputation as well as for Elite XC, who is hanging their coattails on the hard hitting internet street fighting phenomena.  What became clear after the fight were several things: First, Kimbo Slice is still developing his MMA skills. But  at the moment, they would be out-classed by the best in the business. The best should keep looking over their shoulder though, because Kimbo Slice is coming to get them! How long can his undefeated streak last? How long before he reaches the pinnacle of MMA? And how long before Kimbo Slice does become the best fighter in the world? Only time will tell..

But was it a fix? Or is it people don’t want to see a “streetfighter” like Kimbo Slice in the professional’s MMA yard. With many people wanting to see a dream fight between Kimbo Slice and Brock Lesnar, I think these two would be very well suited for each other. Both have all the potential in the world to become greats in the sport. He delivered a huge haymaker, followed by three unanswered punches that caused a referree stoppage. Many people were screaming “fix”, as the conspiracy raged on about Kimbo’s last fight. In the first ever mixed martial arts event shown on prime time network television, Thompson won the first two rounds This was the longest match of Slice’s MMA career Did he have enough in the tank?Well, it turns out he did. Now, Abbott may be past his prime and has had some awful performances, but to knock a man that size out in 43 seconds in impressive. On May 31, Kimbo fought James Thompson In this fight, he looked much less assured. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny, that’s impressive. In February of this year, Slice defeated “Tank” Abbott by KO within 43 seconds. Two by knockout in the first round. His debut was against Bo Cantrell, who he demolished inside twenty seconds. After years of hisstreet-fight videos circulating onYou-tube, he made his much anticipated MMA debut on November 10, 2007.Trained by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Bas Rutten, Kimbo looked like he had a bright future ahead of him.He has certainly started to fulfill that potential His first three fights and he has recorded three wins.

Kimbo Slice has recently burst onto the MMA scene. If he had not been injured as much (from everything from running into outfield walls to breaking bones while playing with his child) Griffey and his swing (described as “majestic” and even “perfect”) would eventually have a shot to be at the top of the home run list. That’s something that all baseball fans would welcome with open arms.. If Griffey could have kept pace with his MVP season in 1997, who knows what could have been possible.Yr 1997 Ag 27 Tm SEA Lg AL G157 AB 608 HR 56 RBI 147 AVG .304This is Griffey’s 20th season in the big leagues and he has 599 career home runs as of today. He experienced season ending injuries in 2002, 2003, and 2003.Below are the statistics in what could be the best season of Griffey’s career. If you consider that Griffey hit 41 home runs between 2002 and 2004 and 35 the very next season in 2005, if he had stayed injury free, one could add anywhere from 25-45 home runs to his total. Injuries forced Junior to miss 260 out of 486 games from 2002 through 2004.260 games That’s over a season and a half. Let’s look in-depth at his injury history and see what could have been.
